The Brechner Center will induct a second class of inductees to the Florida Freedom of Information Hall of Fame in conjunction with its 30th anniversary celebration. The celebration will inclue a two-day conference at the University of Florida and a special ceremony for inductees in September 2007.

The Brechner Center is now accepting nominations for the 2007 class. All nominations must be postmarked or delivered no later than July 1, 2007. Anyone is eligible to make a nomination.

Nominees should have a connection to Florida. Nominations should reflect the nominee's role in developing and defending government-in-the-sunshine laws in Florida or nationally.
